The property is located in a small hamlet of 5 houses, in a quiet valley, just a couple of miles north of the market town of Riberac in the north Dordogne area in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region in southwest France. 

The nearest village is Villetoureix which is just over a mile away. Villetoureix has a cafe/bar/ restarant.

The village of Bertric Burree is a similar distance and has a boulangerie and restaurant.
