A 9 day clock-wise tour of Brittany starting in St.Malo and finishing on North Brittany's coast at Ploumanch
9 DAY TOUR: AUGUST 29th- SEPTEMBER 7th 2019 ( 9 days/ 8 nights )
COST: 2,585€ per person based on 2 people sharing a car and hotel room
COST: 3,245 per person based on 2 people sharing a car but separate hotel rooms
COST: 3,630€ per person based on 1 person per car with a single hotel room
The costs, per person, are based on two people per car sharing a hotel bedroom and include the following:

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
A 9 day tour of Brittany starting with an overnight ferry crossing to St.Malo from Portsmouth.We then drive south to our first hotel near Vannes in Southern Brittany. The next day we explore the Golfe du Moribhan area by boat then visit Carnac and Quiberon before arriving at our chateau hotel for the next 2 nights just south of Hennebont near Lorient. The following day we visit Concarneau and Pont Aven a pretty town famous for the artists that it attracted in the 19th century.
On our 4th day we drive west to Locoran one of France's most beautiful villages where our hotel for the next two nights is located. The following day we explore the Crozon peninsula. On our 6th day we drive north-west to Ploumanach where our hotel for the next three nights is located overlooking a picturesque bay and over the next two days we explore this pretty coastal region. On our final day we drive via St.Malo to Cherbourg to catch the afternoon ferry to Portsmouth.

Day 1 Friday 30th August St. Malo to Missilac ( 115 miles )
or for clients from Ireland, Roscoff to Missilac (150 miles )
The overnight ferry from Portsmouth arrives in St Malo at 8.15am and after re-assembling we drive south to Ploermel our lunch stop, Our afternoon coffee stop is Rochefort en Terre, one of France's most beautiful villages. We then drive south-east to Missilac where Domaine de la Bretesche, our 5 star hotel, is located.

Day 2 Saturday 31st August Day 2 Missilac to Kervignac ( 155 miles )
Our route takes us west to Port Navalo our morning coffee stop where there is an option to take a boat ride around the scenic Moribhan Gulf .We then drive around the gulf through Vannes to La Trinite sur Mer and Carnac where we visit the world famous 3,000 standing stones.
We then drive north west to St. Cado our afternoon coffee stop where we stop to visit the island linked by a pedestrian causeway.
We then continue to our hotel for the next two nights, Chateau de Locguenole, just south of Hennebont.

Day 3 Sunday 1st September Kervignac, local excursion ( 85 miles )
After a leisurely breakfast we drive to our morning coffee stop, Pont- Aven, a pretty village famous as the haunt of artists in the previous century. We then continue west to Concarneau, our lunch stop, where we visit the old walled town.
We then drive back to our hotel Chateau de Locguenole.
Day 4 Monday 2nd September Kervignac to Plonevez Porzay ( 60 miles )
Bidding farewell to Chateau de Locguenole we head west via Quimper to Locoran, another of France's most beautiful villages and our lunch stop. Our hotel for the next two nights, the Manoir de Moellien, is a converted 17th century Manor House less than two miles away in Plonevez Porzay.

Day 5 Tuesday 3rd September Plonevez Porzay local excursion ( 45 miles )
Today we drive aroud the Crozon peninsula before returning to our hotel.
Day 6 Wednesday 4th September Plonevez Porzay to Ploumanach (100 miles )
We bid farewell to West Brittany and drive north-west to Ploumanach where our hotel for the next three nights in located on a pretty bay

Day 7 Thursday 5th September Ploumanach, local excursion, ( 50 miles )
Today we explore the coastal area to the west.In the morning our morning coffee stop is Trebeurden followed by Locquirec our lunch stop. In the afternoon we continue along the coast to Morlaix our afternoon coffee stop before returning to our hotel, Hotel Castel Beau Site,in Ploumanach

Day 8 Friday 6th September Ploumanach, local excursion ( 50 miles )
Today we explore the coastal region to the east with visits to Lezardrieux and Pointe de l'Arcouest where we take a boat trip to the Ile de Brehat.

Day 9 Saturday 7th September Ploumanach to Cherbourg ( 250 miles)
Ploumanach to Roscoff ( 50 miles )
After breakfast we take the motorway east via St.Malo to Cherbourg where we catch the 17.00 afternoon ferry to Portsmouth.
