A 10 day clock-wise tour of Brittany starting in St.Malo and finishing in Cherbourg . On this tour we stay in 4 different stylish hotels, one for 1 night, two for 2 nights and one for 3 nights making the tour quite relaxed.
10 DAY TOUR: June 15th- 24th ( 10days/ 9 nights )
COST: 2,750€ per person based on 2 people sharing a car and hotel room
The costs, per person, are in euros due to the uncertainty of predicting sterling to euros conversion rates and are based on two people per car sharing a hotel bedroom and include the following:
- Accommodation in stylish hotels ( 8 nights )
- Breakfast daily
- 3 course dinners, ( 8 nights )
- Comprehensive road book with daily itineraries and detailed route notes
- Michelin regional map of Brittany with the route highlighted.
- Services of a Tour Director throughout the tour
- Outward overnight ferry from Portsmouth-St. Malo with club class cabin, ( upgrade to Commodore cabin at an extra cost of approximately £60 subject to availability )
- Return daytime ferry from Cherbourg to Portsmouth with reserved seats
NOT INCLUDED ARE THE FOLLOWING :
- Lunches,snacks,coffees etc.
- Drinks with dinner including bottled water and coffee
- Entry to places of interest eg.museums, gardens,chateaux, etc.

A 10 day tour of Brittany starting with an overnight ferry crossing to St. Malo from Portsmouth.
We then drive south to our 5* chateau hotel east of Vannes in Southern Brittany where we stay for two nights.
The next day we drive to Vannes and take a leisurely boat ride around the Golfe du Morbihan before returning to our hotel in Missilac.
The next day we leave Missilac and drive west to Carnac then onto the Presqu'ile Quiberon peninsula before arriving at our new chateau hotel for the next 2 nights just south of Hennebont near Lorient.
The following day we visit the Eric Tarbarly sailing museum in Lorient followed by lunch in Pont Aven a pretty town famous for the artists that it attracted in the 19th century. Our afternoon coffee stop is Concarneau on the coast.
On our 5th day we drive west to the Audierne peninsula where we have lunch before driving around the coast to Locoran one of France's most beautiful villages. Our hotel, for the night is located nearby on the coast.
On our 7th day we drive north-west to Ploumanac'h near Perros-Guirec on the pink granite coast where our hotel for the next three nights is located overlooking arguably the most picturesque bay in Brittany.
The next day we explore the pretty coastal region to the west of Ploumanch including Locquirec and Morlaix.
On our 9th day we explore the pretty coastal region to the east of Ploumanc'h and visit the Isle de Brehat, known as the flower island.
On our 10th day, our final day, we drive via St. Malo to Cherbourg to catch the afternoon ferry back to Portsmouth.
Day 1 Monday 15th June Portsmouth-St. Malo ferry
( 20.15 ferry arrives 8.15am Tuesday )
Day 2 Tuesday 16th June St. Malo to Missilac ( 115 miles )
The overnight ferry from Portsmouth arrives in St Malo at 8.15 am and after re-assembling we drive south to Ploermel our morning coffee stop.
We then continue to Malestroit our lunch stop.
After lunch we visit a museum dedicated to the French Resistance.
We then continue to our afternoon coffee stop, Rochefort en Terre, one of France's most beautiful villages.
We then drive south-east to Missilac where our 5* chateau hotel for the next 2 nights is located.
Day 3 Wednesday 17th June
Exploring the Moribhan Gulf .
After a leisurely breakfast we drive 20 miles west to Vannes our morning coffee stop.
We then take a boat ride around the scenic Gulf of Moribhan with all its islands.
In the afternoon we return to our hotel in Missilac.
Day 4 Thursday 18th June
Missilac to Kervignac ( 155 miles )
We say farewell to Domaine de la Bretesche and drive around Vannes to our morning coffee stop, La Trinite sur Mer.
After coffee we visit the famous pre-historic standing stones in Carnac
We then drive onto the Presqu'il Quiberon peninsula.
We then return to the mainland and drive north west to St. Cado our afternoon coffee stop where we stop to visit the scenic island linked by a pedestrian causeway.
We then continue to our new hotel for the next two nights, a Chateau Hotel overlooking an estuary just north of Lorient. This year the hotel's restaurant was recognised with a Michelin *
Day 5 Friday 19th June Kervignac, local excursion, Pont Aven and Concarneau ( 85 miles )
After a leisurely breakfast, we drive south to Lorient our morning coffee stop where we visit the Eric Tarbarly sailing museum and adjacent submarine museum.
We then continue west to Pont -Aven a pretty village famous as the haunt of artists in the previous century. This is our lunch stop.
After lunch, we drive to Concarneau our afternoon coffee stop where we visit the old walled town.
We then drive back to our chateau hotel.
Day 6 Saturday 20th June Kervignac to Sainte-Anne La Palud (65 miles )
Bidding farewell to our chateau hotel we head west via Quimper to Audierne our lunch stop.
After lunch, we explore the coastal peninsula
We then arrive in Locoran, another of France's most beautiful villages and our afternoon coffee stop.
Our hotel tonight, is a Relais et Chateau hotel located on the beach in nearby Sainte-Anne La Palud five miles away.
Day 7 Sunday 21st June Sainte-Anne La Palud to Ploumanach (100 miles )
We bid farewell to West Brittany and drive north-west to Le Faou our morning coffee stop.
We then drive east to Huelgoat our lunch stop.
After lunch, we continue north to Ploumanac'h where our hotel, for the next three nights, is located on arguably Brittany's prettiest bay.
Day 8 Monday 22nd June Ploumanach, local excursion ( 50 miles )
Today we explore the coastal region to the west of Ploumanac'h with visits to Lannion our morning coffee stop.
Locquirec is our lunch stop.
Morlaix is our afternoon coffee stop.
We then return to our hotel in Ploumanac'h
Day 9 Tuesday 23rd June Ploumanach, local excursion ( 50 miles)
Today we explore the coastal region to the east with visits to Lezardrieux our morning coffee stop.
We then drive to Pointe de l'Arcouest.
Here we take a boat trip to the Ile de Brehat known as the island of flowers
Day 10 Wednesday 24th June Ploumanac'h to Cherbourg ( 250 miles )
After breakfast we take the motorway east via St. Malo then on to Cherbourg where we catch the 5.00pm afternoon ferry to Portsmouth.
