

1.The supplier and Organiser of the Tour is Classic Car Tours International whose address is: 5 Royston Rd., Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire FY6 7JX. The following terms and conditions form the basis of a contract with you the client once the client has completed the booking form and returned it to us together with the relevant booking fee and we have acknowledged acceptance to you in writing.
2. Passport and visa requirements
A current, valid passport is required by all members of the client's party.
We are not aware of any specific visa requirements for EEU citizens but it is
the customer's responsibility to check this with the relevant embassy.
3. Health formalities
All customers should be in possession of a European health insurance card. We
are not aware of any specific health formalities to visit the countries on the
tour. However customers are advised to check with the relevant embassy.
4. Arrangements for the security of money paid over to us by clients
We are governed by The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations
1992 (SI 1992 No 3288), and are required by law to protect clients' pre-payments.
We do this by ensuring that all monies paid to us by a customer are held in
our Clients' Trust Account from which they may only be withdrawn on completion
of the contract, defined as the end of a Tour. The Client Trust Account is held
at our bank (details on request).
5. Arrangements for the security of money paid over to us by clients
Prior to the commencement of the Tour all clients will be issued with their
own personal return ferry tickets. In the event of our insolvency therefore
all clients will be able to return back to England using the return portion
of this ticket.
6. Travel destinations covered by this Tour
The destinations covered by this tour are covered in the itinerary.
7. Relevant periods of stay and dates
The ferry dates and the Tour will take place between the dates shown in the
itinerary
8. The means characteristics and categories of transport to be used
Commercial passenger ferries will be used to travel from England to France and
return. During the Tour clients will drive their own cars. The timing, points
of departure and dates of ferries will be confirmed to the client 4 weeks before
departure.
9. Location of accommodation and its tourist category
A list of the accommodation and its tourist category will be notified to the
client 4 weeks before departure. Accommodation is normally 3 star or 4 star
hotels.
The accommodation comprises the following:
Double or twin bedroom
Continental breakfast
Three course dinners (except Economy Tours)
Each individual hotel has been vetted by us and complies with the rules of the
Member State.
10. Minimum number of persons required for the Tour to proceed
For the Tour to take place we require a minimum of 8 cars. In the event that
we do not reach this number we will notify the client of the cancellation of
the Tour within 6 weeks of departure at the latest.
11. Cancellation by us.
In the event that we are forced to cancel the tour for whatever reason we will
refund all monies to the client including deposits.
12. Itineraries
A provisional itinerary is available on our website (copies available upon request). A final itinerary
will be issued to the client 4 weeks before departure.
13. Visits, excursions and other services included in the Tour price.
The Tour price includes entry to the relevant car race as a spectator together
with parking (unless specified in the provisional itinerary).
14. Our insurance cover
We carry Public Liability insurance. Details are available on request.
15. The price of the Tour
The price of the tour is per person and is listed on the booking form. This
price is based on two people sharing a car, ferry cabin and hotel room.
16. Payment schedule and method of payment
A deposit of £250 per person is required together with a completed booking
form. The balance of the cost of the Tour is payable no later than 10 weeks
before departure Payment is acceptable in the form of cheques, bankers' draft
or BACS. In the event that we do not receive the balance of the cost of the
tour by the due date we have the right to treat your booking as cancelled and
your deposit will be forfeited.
17. Complaints by customers
Complaints during the tour must be addressed to one of the Tour Directors who
accompany the tour. All complaints by customers after the end of the Tour must
be confirmed in writing and received by us within 14 days of the completion
of the Tour.
18. Special requirements agreed with customers when making the booking.
Any special requirements agreed with the client when making the booking will
be agreed in writing by both parties.
19. Travel Insurance
Clients must have valid and relevant travel insurance covering the cost of cancellation
by them, the cost of assistance including motor vehicle breakdown and recovery,
emergency repatriation in the event of the customer's illness or any member
of their party .If you do not take out breakdown recovery insurance you are
responsible for the repatriation of your vehicle and passengers and thus agree
to indemnify us against any costs that might arise. We are able to supply such
cover, please ask for details.
20. Changes to this contract
In the event that we as organisers wish to alter significantly an essential
term of the contract we agree to notify the customer as quickly as possible.
The customer will then be given the choice to withdraw from the contract without
penalty.
21.Cancellation by you
All cancellations must be in writing and are subject to the following cancellation
charges based on total invoice cost:
More than 70 days (10 weeks) Deposit only
57-70 days (8-10 weeks) 35%
29-56 days (4-8 weeks) 50%
Within 28 days (4 weeks) 100%
The cancellation period will be calculated from the date we receive written
notice to the date the tour starts. To protect yourself against losing the above cancellation fees you must
take out insurance to cover yourselves against the possibility of suddenly having
to cancel or withdraw from the event after the refund dates.
22. Our liability
We accept liability to provide the services we contract with you to a satisfactory
standard.
We purchase our tickets from various Ferry Companies and passengers are carried under their tems of carriage. We are not liable
for the consequences of travel delay affecting the carrier.
We cannot accept liability under any circumstances if you suffer injury or death
whilst travelling in a motor vehicle whether or not through your own fault or
neglect.
We do not accept liability where there has been no fault on behalf of ourselves,
our servants or agents and where the events complained of are due to circumstances
which neither we nor our suppliers could have foreseen if all due care had been
exercised.
23. Compliance with motor regulations for travel abroad.
You must comply with motoring regulations for travel abroad and carry the relevant
equipment. Information is available from your insurers, the AA and the RAC.
It is compulsory to have a full current driving licence, car registration document,
motor insurance certificate and current MOT certificate
